Rehabilitation of PwD's

Speechtherapy session for students of PVV Center

About This Programme

Enabling equal opportunities for the physically challenged in rural Visakhapatnam, BCTs rehabilitation program was established at the time of BCTs inception. Ensuring that the PwD community is not perceived as a burden on their family but receives equal opportunities, work is undertaken through a two-pronged approach: Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) and Institution Based Rehabilitation (IBR). CBR operates in 12 mandals and takes care to the doorsteps of people in villages. IBR is offered through the Sri PV Venkatesan Center for the Challenged, which has been operational on campus since 2000.
