About This Programme
The BCT Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Farm Science Centre) was sanctioned in 1995 by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and is the only KVK in Visakhapatnam district. KVK conducts On Farm Testing (OFT) of new agricultural technologies, Front Line Demonstrations (FLD) for new crop varieties, and training programmes for farmers and extension workers. It serves as a knowledge and resource centre for the agriculture and allied sectors, reaching approximately 45,000 farmers per year across the district.
