Community Development

Grassroots mobilisation through Community Action Groups across 137 villages.

About This Programme

With the core belief that the catalyst for rural progress needs to be internal, rather than external, Community Development at BCT operates to mobilize & facilitate local communities towards understanding their issues and finding suitable solutions. This is mainly taken up through Community Action Groups (CAGs), which are operational in 137 villages and impact over 1.3 lakh people annually. The program mobilizes farmers through Farmer Field Schools, coordinates government scheme convergence, conducts health screening camps, supports women's SHGs, and builds village-level institutions for sustainable self-governance and development.
