Impact of Integrated Pest Management-Thadi Ramana, Ugginapalem, Kasimkota

Thadi Ramana adopted Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques and worked on improving soil health. These interventions reduced shoot and fruit borer incidence and also reduced pesticide. His yield was 90 bags (3,150 kg) from 0.25 acres and he had a net profit of ₹54,000 in three months. This case highlights the profitability and sustainability of IPM and soil health practices, proving them to be valuable for achieving higher yields and lower costs.
