Ms. Harshini came from a family where her father would often be unwell. This left the weight of providing for the family fell on her mother and brother. While her mother made many sacrifices and her brother took up a part-time job, it was hard to make ends meet. Things took a turn for the worse, when her father met with an accident and lost his eyesight completely. This further drained their finances, motivating Harshini to take up the course at SMART Gajuwaka. A 12th pass, she enrolled in the program, worked hard and finally landed a job at IPMG, earning a salary of Rs. 19,000 as a Voice Process Executive.
