Hailing from Chinamusidivada, her father was an autorikshaw driver, and found it difficult to make ends meet. Gayatri joined the BCT school in 6th grade, and excelled at school. In 2013-14, she completed her 10th grade and went on to pursue a career in nursing. She now works as a General Duty attendant at the Rani Chandramathi Devi Hospital in Visakhapatnam, and is in a suitable position to support her family.
