Established in 2012, the BCT-run Industrial Training Institute, is an extension of the work BCT does in rural youth empowerment. Run under the CTS scheme of NCVT, the BCT ITI trains students on skill sets relevant for the manufacturing and service sectors. 100 students are trained every year in Electrician and Fitter skills, and have benefitted from good job placements as well. Working with the goal to establish itself as a leading ITI college, the BCT ITI is also considering non-conventional short term programs that are market relevant and attract girl students as well.
Students are trained in electrical and fitter trade. They are helped to develop -More application knowledge through hands-on projects.-More practical sessions in their laboratories and workshops under trainers.-Better observation skills through exposure visits and industrial visits-Develop a thorough understanding of job tools, framework techniques, machinery parts etc.-Develop soft skills through spoken English classes.-Aids and appliances
